reaction.

After staying up last night until about 5:45am, I went into my Linear Algebra midterm on about 3 hours of sleep.

I. I thought I did really well on that Linear Algebra midterm. I think I got lucky… everything that I went over, theorems, problems, etc. in Starbucks last night was on the test. We’ll see about the exact score, but I’ve got a feeling I just resurrected my grade in that class.

II. Music Test this afternoon didn’t go bad either. I correctly identified all 10 compositions on the test, so I’m pleased. Some minor details might have gotten omitted, but it’s nothing too important that will affect my grade.

III. My Stat quiz this morning didn’t go so well, but that’s what happens when you try and learn a new, and rather confusing, concept at 4:30am. And then have printer trouble.

So, the Week of Woe is over, thank the Lord! Now, one easy week of school ahead of me, and then Spring Break! Which means, of course Spring Training!

The Red Sox started off their official Spring Training season tonight with a win over Minnesota, 8-3. Dice-K pitched 2 innings, got 2 double plays. On the offensive side, my boy Kevin Youkilis and the Cap’n hit back-to-back home runs in the 4th. All in all, a good performance from the Boston nine. Cannot wait until the 9th, when I see them at Dodgertown. And can’t wait until the 25th, the season opener in Japan. You can bet I’ll be up at 6am to watch both games!
